T-shirts Unfolding, Canterbury Museum, February – May 2015, Christchurch, New Zealand.

23rd March 2015 | Tags: , , ,

We are super honoured to have a selection of our AnyForty designs in the incredible exhibition that is T-shirts Unfolding curated by our down under pal, the T-shirt megalord Eddie Zammit of T-world  journal fame.

T-shirts Unfolding is staged as part of the  SPECTRUM street art festival, presented by Oi YOU! in partnership with the YMCA and Canterbury Museum in Christchurch, New Zealand

With two venues, eight exhibitions, nine big walls, 16 of the world’s best street artists, 22 Banksy’s and hundreds of T-shirts SPECTRUM promises to be even bigger and better than RISE which attracted 248,000 people to Canterbury Museum last summer, the most viewed exhibition in the Museum’s history.

T-shirts Unfolding showcases everything to do with T-shirt creation, from promotional stickers to swing tags, and books to the tees themselves. The show runs in Canterbury Museum until the 10th of May and is completely free to enter so you’d be a absolute fool not to check it out in the cotton!

Check out the brilliant animated promo for the event by the guys from Mass Motion and scroll down to see a selection of gorgeous photos of the exhibition by Melbourne based Holly Hawkins. Still blows our mind to see AnyForty alongside so many legendary world famous brands, thanks to Eddie Z for always having our back. Always appreciated our friend, and congratulations on another incredible show.

Behind the scenes of our Australian Invasion Series production.

So a few months back, when the new range was being produced, we headed down to White Duck in our home of 9 years, Bath to film the new range for the Broken Antler promo video, took a load of photographs of the day and thought it kinda rude not to share as we know a lot of you guys like seeing the process behind the production. So below check out the Beastman design from the AnyForty & T-world The Australian Invasion Series being printed. Remember the range is available to buy now from the online store or direct from Urban Industry, Focus Scotland, The Chimp Store and our new stockists Mimm.

Big up Joshua, Bex and the whole White Duck team for incredible work as always!

Make Great Together presented by Threadless and T-world

7th June 2012 | Tags: , , , ,

Australian heads, your in for a treat, our ever busy buddies at T-world have linked up with Threadless and Ambush Gallery to present a exhibition of 200 Threadless tees curated by the founder of T-world Eddie Zammit, it all  happens tomorrow night. Friday June 8th, in Sydney.

Best part of the night for us though, a wall mural painted by the legend Ben Brown who created this immense tee from our new AnyForty & T-world The Australian Invasion series.

Click the event’s facebook page to rsvp, and hit up the online store to support Ben and cop his tee!

It’s Official, Nobody’s Sicker…

To celebrate the recently released AnyForty & T-world The Australian Invasion Series, we got our mate, and all round director/animation/design genius Broken Antler to cook us up some visual candy to help promote the new drop.

Filmed on location at White Duck Screen Print in Bath and at Broken Antler HQ just outside of London, with some lovely Rick Nunn shot images from our lookbook shoot thrown in the mix, it truly is a family affair!

Seeing as us, a UK brand, hooked up with some great Australian artists to make the range, there was only one choice for the soundtrack, when UK producer Beat Butcha remixed one of our favourite Australian mc’s Brad Strut‘s track “Official”, we needed it badly! We got the rights to use it a few months back and the whole promo was built around that head nodder.

Everything about this whole project screams official, we don’t fuck around, we hope you enjoy the promo and more importantly the tees!

On sale now, £30 for a limited run tee with artist specific 24 page mini T-world journal.

Go grab one from anyforty.com before it’s too late!

AnyForty & Flyotw Present… Numskull (Teaser trailer!)

On a Sunday morning in late May, we hooked up with our mate, the brilliant Numskull from Sydney, who is one of the 10 incredible artists that form our new AnyForty & T-world The Australian Invasion Series, and took him to Carlton’s Cafe in Hackney Wick, just metres away from the London Olympic Stadium, and let him work his magic on a blank wall. Gold medals all round yo!

This is the teaser for the full length promo created by James McKenzie-Blyth aka Flyotw, which will blow you away, and it’s coming sooner than you think… First in a series of video collaborations we’re doing with Flyotw, taking you behind the scenes of some of your favourite AnyForty artists at work.

Big up our mate Greg from VNA for giving us the heads up about the space to paint, and shout to the guys at Carlton Cafe for accommodating us for the afternoon.
